Generally people take their health for granted and don’t stop to consider how they would manage if they were unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with a serious Critical Illness. 

How would you manage financially if for instance you could no longer work?

On diagnosis of certain specified illnesses the Critical Illness policy would pay out a lump sum or pay a income benefit.
